Assistance Required

 More More & More free service to the poor and needy persons in the interior places cannot be provided without financial assistance from outside sources. The charges for the services rendered in the hospital being almost on no loss no profit basis, do not generate any surplus for this work. The poor patients are screened in the villages, transported to base hospital at Jaipur, tested for fitness for surgery, operated, medicines given, bed provided, transported back, follow-up and spects given. All free. Part assistance is forthcoming from a Govt. programme. Hospital seeks assistance to continue running free rural eye dare & eye restoration programme indifferent ways.

(i) Assistance for eye operations by donating @ Rs. 1000/- for each operation for as many numbers of operations as is possible.
(ii) Assistance in organizing a rural camp @ Rs. 10,000 per camp.
(iii) Assistance in meeting expenses on free meals to poor patients @ Rs. 500/- per day for as many number of days as is possible.

For adding new equipment and replenish the old one assistance is sought for full cost or part cost, for the following

(i) Operating microscope Rs. 5,00,000

Basic equipment in the theatre for conducting surgeries we have got two, but one more is needed.
(ii) Cataract Instrument Rs. 2,00,000
Instrument required for cataract surgery. This is a regular need.

(iii) Phaco Emulsification Unit
For suture less surgery, the machine is required. It is a latest technique in cataract surgery and implanting of IOL
(iv) Autorefractor Keratometer

(v) Installation of a computerized system Rs. 3,00,000

Keeping pace with the modern trend, the Hospital requires to be fully computerized. Apart from hard work, software will have to be got developed

(vi) B-Scan Rs. 5,50,000
It is sonography machine for the eye & is used when inside of the eye i.e retina etc. are not visible by other means of examinations

(vii) Non Cataract Tonometer Rs. 4,00,000
A rapid & non touch technique to take eye pressure for screening General OPD patients. A very useful machine for a hospital like ours

(viii) Fund Camera Rs. 18,00,000
It is used to take photographs of the eye especially while doing angiography for diabetic patients.

(ix) Slit lamp with T.V. & Camera Rs. 4,00,000
Used to examine patients and to educate them about their disease with a vision towards prevention of the disease

(x) Cooling system Rs. 2,00,000

Since the weather is very hot during summer, the hospital needs to be centrally cooled.


(xi) Microscope Carl Zeiss Rs. 20,00,000
As we do not have higher end Microscope which would help immensely in doing advanced Vitreo Retinal surgeries to pass the benefit of modern operations to the unaffordable at very affordable cost.
